Paul N. Allen is a partner with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, Co-Chair of the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Firm Management Committee. He has been with the Firm since 1986.
Mr. Allen’s practice focuses on real estate law, with particular specialties in commercial leasing and the buying and selling of commercial real estate, and has entailed extensive involvement in real estate development, construction lending, loan workouts and restructurings, title insurance matters, condominium issues and entity formations. He routinely handles the leasing of many first-class commercial office and industrial properties for Center City and Tri-State Area landlords, and represents a number of major corporate and professional tenants in the negotiation of their headquarters and branch office leases. He also represents a number of REITs, pension funds, insurance companies and other major investors in the purchase, sale, financing and development of commercial real estate holdings of all types.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Mr. Allen received his Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and was awarded his Juris Doctor degree by the University of Pennsylvania Law School in Philadelphia.
He is a member of the Real Estate and Business Sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and a member of the Real Estate Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
