Ralph P. Ferrara is Managing Partner of the Cherry Hill, NJ office of Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP. He is Chair of the firm's Construction Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Litigation Department.
Mr. Ferrara focuses his practice on general litigation matters with a particular emphasis on construction and complex commercial litigation. Named one of the top attorneys in South Jersey (SJ Magazine, 2003 and 2004), Mr. Ferrara has extensive trial experience, having handled more than 200 trials, hearings and arbitrations combined. He also counsels clients in business practice, real estate development and acquisition and professional negligence. Prior to joining Obermayer, he chaired WolfBlock’s Construction Industry Group. While at Flaster/Greenberg, he was the chair of the Litigation Department.
Mr. Ferrara is named as one of New Jersey’s “Super Lawyers” for 2009 and 2010 in both the New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine and New Jersey Monthly. He is also named in the Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition highlighting construction/surety attorneys nationally (May/June 2010).
A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D., 1985) and Rutgers University (B.A., 1982), he is a member of the New Jersey State and Camden County bar associations.
Mr. Ferrara is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the Supreme Court of the United States, Court of International Trade, Supreme Court of New Jersey, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
