Charles C. Coyne is of counsel with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Business and Finance Department.

Mr. Coyne has been politically active for a number of years, has served as a member of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, is a member of the Alumni Leadership Council of the University of Pennsylvania and has represented and advised a number of local, state and federal government and business leaders, including his brother, former Congressman James K. Coyne, who also served as Director of the White House office of Private Sector Initiatives, and his brother Thomas H. Coyne, the Chief Executive Officer of the Coyne Chemical Co., Inc. and past Chairman of the National Association of Chemical Distributors.

Mr. Coyne has been active in the area of international relations.  He is a Fellow of the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria, has conducted a seminar “American Entrepreneurship, The Lawyer’s Role; The Function of the Attorney-at-law in the US Economy” at the University of Szczecin in Poland, and has spoken at other international conferences and seminars. 

Mr. Coyne received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance and Commerce.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Temple University School of Law where he served as an Associate Editor of the Temple Law Review.

Mr. Coyne is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the United States Supreme Court.  He is a subject of autobiographical record in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law and is rated "A" (Most Highly Qualified) "V" (Adheres to the highest ethical-standards of the profession) by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
