 Hercules W. Grigos is an associate with Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP. He is a member of the Business & Finance Department.
Mr. Grigos concentrates his practice in municipal law, business, banking, governmental affairs, and real estate, with particular specialties in the buying and selling of commercial real estate, commercial leasing, real estate finance, zoning and land use. Mr. Grigos has represented numerous developers, as well commercial and industrial businesses in zoning and land use matters throughout the region, securing approvals for multi-million dollar projects including condominiums, car dealerships, national fast food chains, telecommunications facilities and outdoor advertising projects.
In 2008, he was selected as a "Pennsylvania Rising Star" in Philadelphia Magazine and in Law & Politics Magazine, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star edition. Rising Stars are chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers in the Commonwealth. Only 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania attorneys are awarded this honor each year.
Prior to joining Obermayer, Mr. Grigos served for three years as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia Law Department with his focus on code enforcement, finance, contracts, and real estate.
Mr. Grigos earned his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law, Wilmington, DE. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, in history, from Boston College.
Mr. Grigos is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
